Tester (Software Quality Assurance)

Reports to: QA Lead / Project Manager
Location: EcomElite Thái Nguyên Office 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our Shopify-related products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests to identify software issues, collaborating with the development team, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and software defects using issue-tracking systems like Jira or Trello.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure issues are properly understood and addressed.
• Perform manual testing of web applications, with a focus on Shopify themes and apps.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases and checklists.
• Validate new features and enhancements based on project requirements.
• Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards before they are released to customers.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Provide input to the development team regarding user experience and performance concerns.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in software testing, particularly in web-based applications.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and test management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in English.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is an advantage but not required.

Preferred:

• Experience with Shopify app or theme testing.
• Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
